Grants or Financial Assistance
We believe hearing care should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer flexible payment options, trial periods, and information on financial supports available in Ireland—from government schemes to private insurance and tax relief. Explore the options below to see how you can reduce the cost of your treatment.
Hearing Aid Trial
We offer a 30-day trial period on all our hearing aids. All we require is a 50% deposit of the cost of you hearing aid(s). The trial period begins from the date of your fitting appointment. If you wish to return the hearing aids at the end of the trial period, we will refund the full 50% deposit once we receive the hearing aids within 30-days.
Treatment Benefit Scheme
You could save up to €1000 on your hearing aids if you are eligible for the Treatment Benefit Scheme. If you qualify for the scheme, you can also claim up to €100 per hearing aid towards the cost of repairs. The scheme is available to insured workers, the self-employed and retired people who have the required number of PRSI contributions. Speak to a member of our team or visit www.welfare.ie
Health Insurance Cover
If you have private health insurance, check with your insurance company to see if
your policy covers hearing aids costs and or cover the cost of assessment(s). You
may be able to add hearing aid coverage onto your current insurance plan.
Tax Relief on Health Expenses:
You (or your dependant relative) may be able to claim tax relief on the cost of you hearing aids under the MED 1 Scheme for prescribed medical appliances. Visit www.revenue.ie for more information on how you can claim relief on health expenses.
